Report: EU may approve new sanctions against Russia Mon

MOSCOW, Dec 18 (PRIME) -- New E.U. sanctions against Russia may be approved already on Monday as 26 union members have already signed the package, and the remaining procedure is merely formal, the Financial Times reported citing a European diplomat.

Earlier, the media said that Austria objected to the new sanctions against Russia pursuing the removal of Raiffeisen, one of Austria’s top banks, from Ukraine’s black list. Vienna withdrew the objections on December 15.
